Welcome to Allied Tutors Pakistan. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Introduction
Allied Tutors Pakistan connects students, parents, and clients with qualified home and online tutors. We aim to facilitate effective educational experiences through our network of experienced tutors and educators. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of any changes to these terms.
2. Definitions
- Tutor/Teacher/Resource: Individuals offering educational assistance in various subjects through home or online tutoring. They are expected to have strong academic credentials and expertise.
- Student/Parent/Client: Individuals seeking tutoring services for themselves or their children.
- Company: Refers to Allied Tutors Pakistan.
3. Tutor/Teacher/Resource Responsibilities
- Introductory Sessions & Trial/Demo Classes
- Free Introductory Session: Tutors will provide a free introductory session and demo for up to two days. For home tuition, tutors may need to travel to the student’s location.
- Decision Making: Parents/students have the freedom to hire or dismiss the tutor based on the introductory session/demo.
- Session Timing: Introductory sessions should last at least 1 hour and follow the timings mentioned in the tuition post. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
- Preparation: Tutors should be well-prepared, demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism.
- Confidentiality: Tutors must keep their contact details confidential and cannot discuss commission percentages or other internal information.
- Payment Process: Tutors should inform parents/students about the advance payment requirement.
- Female Tutors: Female tutors are advised to attend sessions with a guardian.
- Conduct: Maintain a formal relationship with students and parents, focusing solely on academic discussions.
- Updates: Any changes in tuition details should be communicated to the company.
- Direct Contact: Tutors and students should not make direct contact outside of official channels. The company is not responsible for any issues arising from such contact.
- Expenses: Tutors cannot request additional allowances like transport or meals but may request a conducive teaching environment.
- Absence: Avoid absences or lateness. In emergencies, proof must be provided for rescheduling.
- Reviews: Provide honest feedback about students and vice versa.
Tuition Application Closure
- Selection: The company does not impose decisions on tutor selection. Students/parents are free to shortlist tutors as they wish.
- Shortlisting: Students/parents can shortlist multiple tutors.
- Rescheduling: Inform the company at least 2-3 hours in advance if an introductory session needs to be rescheduled.
- Cancellation Fees: Cancellations or rescheduling more than three times may incur a fee of PKR 1000-5000, as decided by the tutor and the company.
Tutor Withdrawal
- Rejection: Tutors can refuse assignments during the demo period. After selection, tutors must complete at least the first month.
- Application Withdrawal: Tutors cannot withdraw applications once shared with students/parents.
- Reasons for Withdrawal: Tutors may withdraw if:
- The payout is unsatisfactory.
- Requirements change and are unmanageable.
- The teaching environment is unsuitable.
- There is unprofessional behavior from the student/parent.
Behavioral Approach – Code of Conduct
- Promptness: Be punctual and maintain consistency.
- Emergency Absence: Notify the student/parent immediately and arrange make-up classes.
- Conduct: Physical harm or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. Tutors should maintain formal relationships and avoid personal discussions.
- Complaints: Any complaints will be addressed with strict actions.
Payment Process
- Payment Processing: Students/parents/clients must make payments for tuitions directly to the company. The company will then transfer payments to tutors/teachers/resources.
- Bank Account Details: Company representatives will provide official bank account details for all transactions. Direct payments to tutors are not permitted unless authorized by the company.
- Direct Payment Authorization: Tutors cannot request direct payments unless authorized by the company.
- Initial Payment: For the first month, payments must be made to the company. From the second month onward, tutors may collect tuition fees directly.
- Payment Terms: Tuition payments should be made within the first seven business days after confirmation.
- Refunds and Transfers: Payments are non-refundable but may be transferable in exceptional circumstances. The company’s decision on refunds or transfers is final.
- Registration Fee: The registration fee for becoming a registered tutor must be paid into the bank accounts provided by the company’s representative. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Commission Structure:
- Fees Below PKR 25,000: A 50% commission is charged in the first month.
- Fees PKR 25,000 or More: A 60% commission is charged in the first month.
- Short-Term Tuition (45 Days or Less): A commission of 20%-40% will be applied, determined by the duration of the tuition.
6. Student/Parent/Client Responsibilities
- Eligibility: Students must be 18+ to avail services directly. Those under 18 must have a parent/guardian contact the company.
- Requirements: Provide accurate details for tuition/assignments. Changes after scheduling may affect negotiations.
- Introductory Sessions: Conduct as scheduled or inform the company for rescheduling.
- Study Environment: Provide a suitable environment for effective teaching.
- Direct Contact: Avoid direct contact with tutors outside official channels. The company handles all communications.
- Assistance: The company’s help desk is available for support. The company connects students with tutors but does not represent either party.
7. General Terms
- Data Privacy: Your personal information is protected and used only for service provision and improvement.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be reviewed by our management team. Decisions made by our team are final.
- Amendments: We may update these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
- Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services for breach of these terms. Outstanding fees may be required, and future access may be barred.
